Specialized Programs:

Easy Riders Bike Clinic
Bike riding lessons for children who are convinced they will never learn to ride a bicycle. Taught by an experienced pediatric therapist, instruction is tailored to each child's skill level and learning style. Individual instruction in very small groups. Beginner and Advanced levels.

Handwriting Renovation
Customized instruction for middle and high school students who wish
to write more quickly and legibly with less fatigue. Using a multi-sensory approach this program teaches children how to modify the way they write to reduce hand fatigue, and increase the speed and legibility of the written work they produce. Particular attention is given to MCAS and SAT preparation.

Social Skills Groups:
Weekly small group program for children struggling to make friends, identify emotions, initiate and maintain conversations, identify stress triggers, and use effective coping strategies.

Early Childhood Play Group:
This group is appropriate for children ages 2-3 years old who need assistance with developing language skills (receptive and expressive), having appropriate and successful communication/ interactions with same- aged peers, getting social or play opportunities and learning basic concepts. This group provides young children with peer interactions and peer models to build expressive and receptive language skills, social interaction, articulation skills, sensory integration skills and play skills. Each session will run for 75 minutes and will target various themes (ie. body parts, clothes, animals, feelings, etc) and skills each week (ie. labeling, identifying, learning colors, early spatial concepts, tactile play, sensory play, articulation with various sounds, learning shapes, etc) through therapy and play. The sessions will include a short circle time, structured therapy, snack, and an unstructured cooperative play segment to target motor and sensory play.
